At Darcy Fitness, your health and safety are of paramount concern to us. We are following all government guidelines to minimise the risk and spread of COVID-19.
- The team will all be vaccinated when they are due, and each team member will do a lateral flow test twice a week.
- All clients and patients will be required to complete a pre-attendance track and trace document to record vaccine and lateral flow dates before each appointment they attend. Your temperature will be taken on arrival. Each service at the studio has its QR code, which you can scan on arrival.
- On arrival, clients or patients will be asked to stay in their cars until a member of the team whose appointment you attend calls you. To help reduce contact with other members and allow the team to clean up cleaning time between personal training clients and patients.
- Social distancing measures will be met with clear markings on the floor, and outside training, the training pods will be marked with cones. The ventilation capacity will be kept to the guidelines of 100 sqft people, with doors and windows left open. Each team member will have their risk assessment appropriate for the requirements of their business.
- All team members will wear PPE of masks, visors, gloves, and the physiotherapist will wear aprons. For all personal training outside, the personal trainer will wear masks and gloves.
- The requirement for masks for our personal training clients attending the studio is to wear your face mask upon entering the building. Until you are in the designated area to train, the face mask can be removed and replaced after your training session, before leaving the building.
- All equipment is cleaned and sanitised before your training session. During the session, you will be required to sanitise equipment after using the wipes provided. Where possible, equipment will be rotated every 72 hours. We ask if you have your own mat to use within the studio, but if you don’t have your own or forget, we have mats to use that will be sanitised before and after, and then stored away for 72 hours.
- At Darcy Fitness, we would like you to have a positive experience and keep to the guidelines, while giving you the 5-star treatment you deserve, and keeping the team and yourself safe.
- Our risk assessments, policies and procedures are overseen by the studio’s Health and Safety Consultant, Rebecca Brookes.
